Mukwonago Remodeling added an extra 1100 square feet to this already beautiful home in the Weston Hills subdivision of Brookfield, complete with its own castle-style turret. The homeowner wished to expand each level of the home, open up the more traditional closed in spaces and add to the home's entertaining space. To accomplish that we opened up the kitchen and dining spaces, added to the basement and also added to the upper level bedroom and bathroom living areas. We remodeled the kitchen into a stunning showplace with custom cabinetry and a large open island with seating for 6. We built a gorgeous custom range hood, cabinet pullouts, a charging station and a hidden paper towel holder. It is now truly an entertaining space. The basement was remodeling and reconfigured to include a large living area, fun bar area, a new craft room, a glass enclosed sports memorabilia display area and a custom theatre room. The upper story was reconfigured to add another bedroom, a large tiled walk in shower, a huge fully customized walk in closet, a coffee/wine bar and a beautiful cedar lined three season room that can be accessed from inside the home and outside the home using a spiral staircase. The home now fits the customer's needs much better and is truly an open, warm and welcoming, yet stunning showplace, for them to entertain in.
