Callen Kitchen
The homeowners had a specific idea in mind when they met with Callen to discuss their kitchen remodel. They wanted to open up the kitchen space and create a more function with storage. To accomplish this we removed two walls to expand into the dining room. The removed family room wall, load bearing, needed support and that was created by installing two columns met by soffit archways.
To address the organization needs of the family a drop zone was created; a place to land and get organized when coming and going which included USB ports to charge devices.
The homeowners chose Tigerwood for their flooring in a natural finish. Tigerwood is a vibrant and expressive exotic hardwood that takes its name from the striated grain pattern resembling the stripes of the tiger.
